In 2001, John Hryshchuk had a novel idea: to found a company that would provide ultrasound repairs down to component level. As an independent service organization, AUE was one of the first companies created to specialize in ultrasound repair that included full diagnostics and functionality testing on dedicated test beds. The company achieved immediate success and demand in the market. Logically, AUE expanded into selling ultrasound parts, probes, systems and field service.
Since conception, the company has steadily expanded its repair capabilities to stay ahead of current technology and to meet the needs of a growing customer base. AUE is well equipped to meet these increasing needs by utilizing our broad knowledge of ultrasound technology – tracing back to 1997, when John was performing reverse engineering repairs on PCB’s.
Today, Advanced Ultrasound Electronics (AUE) provides a full spectrum of ultrasound products and services.
AUE stays constantly tuned to the OEMs and the changing technology to be able to support our customer base when they look for alternative service providers. By keeping up with the pulse of the market, as well as staying in tune with customers’ needs by continuously soliciting feedback, AUE constantly improves its QA process to achieve increasingly higher standards for all the repairs it performs and all the parts and systems it sells.
In March 2014, AUE purchased a new 20,000 sq. ft. facility to accommodate our steady growth. This new space has allowed for expansion of our test bed facility, repair and diagnostics department, parts and probes inventory, and inventory of refurbished systems. AUE has also expanded capabilities to offer depot repair services, portable ultrasound device repairs, and a new dedicated training facility.
Also in 2014, AUE hired Jim Carr as Director of Service and International Operations. Jim brings 30 years of experience in diagnostic imaging in the disciplines of field service, quality assurance, regulatory affairs, manufacturing, product development, and technical support.
In 2015, AUE launched Advanced Veterinary Ultrasound (www.avuetulsa.com) to meet the needs of the veterinary ultrasound market. Advanced Veterinary Ultrasound occupies its own 3,000 sq. ft. space contiguous to AUE headquarters. Also, in 2015 AUE increased our internal IT staff, Inside and Outside Sales staff, and technical support team.
